Fallout 4 Next-Gen Update Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series XS on April 25
Long-Awaited Update Brings Performance and Quality Modes
Enhanced Graphics and Gameplay for Latest Consoles
Bethesda Softworks has announced the release date for the highly anticipated Fallout 4 PS5 and Xbox Series XS update. The next-gen update will arrive on April 25, bringing several enhancements to the post-apocalyptic RPG.
The Fallout 4 PS5 and Xbox Series XS upgrade will include full native support for the game on Sony and Microsoft's latest home consoles. Players can expect improved graphics, faster loading times, and a range of performance and quality modes.
One of the most significant improvements coming to Fallout 4 is the addition of 60 frames per second (FPS) gameplay. Both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles will support 60 FPS, providing a smoother and more responsive gaming experience.
In addition to the FPS boost, the Fallout 4 update will also introduce new quality and performance modes. The quality mode prioritizes visual fidelity and enhances the game's graphics, while the performance mode prioritizes smoother gameplay with a higher frame rate.
Fallout 4 will also become available on the Epic Games Store for the first time when the next-gen update arrives. Players who have previously purchased the game on other platforms will be able to upgrade their copies to the next-gen version free of charge.
