Customization and Repair
Players can customize their characters and weapons, and repair items using repair kits. Repair kits can be purchased with Atoms, the in-game currency, or awarded for free for defeating enemies.
Free Play Weekend Dates
The Fallout 76 free trial is available from October 23 to October 30, 2023, starting at 12PM ET. Players can download the game for free on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation 4.
Xbox Instructions
To download the free trial on Xbox One, search for Fallout 76 in the Microsoft Store and select the trial version. You will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play online.
PS4 Instructions
To download the free trial on PS4, visit the PlayStation Store and search for Fallout 76. Select the trial version and follow the prompts to download and install the game. You will need a PlayStation Plus subscription to play online.
PC Instructions
To download the free trial on PC, visit the Steam store page for Fallout 76 and select the "Play Game" button. You will need a Steam account to play the game.
