Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton. The Magpies are said to be keen on the 26-year-old England striker, who has been injured for most of the season.
Calvert-Lewin has only made two appearances for Everton this season, but he has a good track record in the Premier League. He scored 21 goals in 39 games for the Toffees last season, and he has also scored 11 goals in 20 appearances for England.
Newcastle are in need of a new striker, as Callum Wilson has been injured for much of the season. The Magpies have also been linked with a move for Reims striker Hugo Ekitike, but Calvert-Lewin would be a more experienced option.
It remains to be seen whether Newcastle will be able to sign Calvert-Lewin, but he would be a good addition to their squad. The Magpies are looking to build a team that can challenge for the top six, and Calvert-Lewin would be a key part of that.
